The excise department has launched a special campaign in Shivpuri district to stop the sale, transport, and manufacture of illegal liquor.

This action was carried out on November 3 under the guidance of Collector Arpit Verma, Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Sharma, and District Excise Officer Shubham Dangode.

Inspections at local dhabas and hotels

During the campaign, officials inspected various locations in the Satanwada area. These included Sultan Dhaba, Munna Dhaba, Punjabi Dhaba, Pathak Hotel, and Tomar Hotel, where checks were conducted for illegal liquor activities.

Night vehicle checking in Satanwada

In the next phase of the operation, night vehicle checking was also carried out in the Satanwada locality. The departmental team searched vehicles and kept a watch on illegal transport.
