Police in the Physical police station area of Shivpuri arrested a man on charges of illegal gambling. The action was carried out on October 31, 2026, under the directives of Superintendent of Police Yangchen Dolkar Bhutia.

Action near Durga Math

The police team intercepted the suspect near Durga Math in front of Vishnu Mandir. The individual was identified as 30-year-old Irshad Khan, a resident of Purani Shivpuri Imamwada.

Authorities recovered two betting slips, a ballpoint pen, and Rs 1,300 in cash from his possession.

Case registered under Gambling Act

A case has been registered against the accused at the Physical police station under Crime Number 242/26 and Section 4(A) of the Public Gambling Act.
