Industrialist Elon Musk has issued a major warning regarding American politics, stating that if the Democratic Party wins in 2028, democracy in America could come to an end.

Appeal for midterm elections

Musk has appealed for voters to cast their ballots in favor of Republican Party candidates in the upcoming midterm elections scheduled for November 3, 2026. These US midterm elections will involve voting for all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate.

Supporting his claims, Musk said that the Democrats could grant statehood to Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. Additionally, he raised the possibility of granting legal status to illegal immigrants and increasing the number of judges on the Supreme Court.

Campaign spending and verification

Regarding election-related expenditures, information has emerged that Elon Musk has spent approximately ₹4,200 crore on the campaign for Republican candidates. However, these political claims made by Musk have not been independently verified.
