A joint team of the Anti Narcotics Cell and the Food and Drug Department has raided an illegal drug factory operating from a residential house in the Ramgarh Bhudda area of Zirakpur, Mohali.

During the raid, a large quantity of steroids, banned medicines, and drugs used for intoxication were recovered from the spot. Police also arrested one employee from the location during the operation.

Investigation revealed that the illegal factory was being operated without any license in a rented house. The banned medicines and steroids prepared here were supplied online.

At present, the identification of the mastermind and the supply network is still pending. The arrest of other major faces associated with the gang and the exposure of the entire network remain to be completed.
