A young man was beaten to death on the night of October 29 in the Gyaspura area of Ludhiana following a dispute that broke out while consuming alcohol. The deceased has been identified as Vipin Singh, son of Chandrabhan Singh.

At the time of the incident, Vipin was sitting with Santosh, Tinku, and other individuals at a shop named Anmol. According to the family members, the accused persons struck Vipin with around 50 slaps, kicks, and blows.

Following the assault, the accused brought Vipin on a motorcycle to his home and left him in an unconscious state on a cot. The family members rushed him to Oswal Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police are registering an FIR based on the recorded statement of the deceased's father, Chandrabhan Singh. The precise cause of the dispute and the full identities of all the accused have not yet emerged.
