A newlywed woman has died under suspicious circumstances in Haryana's Jind district. The deceased has been identified as Esha, whose marriage took place about 10 months ago with Sonu, a resident of Karkhana village. Police initiated an investigation into the matter after receiving information about the incident.

Brother alleges dowry death

In a complaint given to the police, the deceased's brother Ashish accused husband Sonu, father-in-law Billu, and mother-in-law Kavita of dowry death. Based on the family's complaint, the Sadar police station has registered a case against three people, including the husband. Police are currently investigating all aspects of the case thoroughly.

Police probe underway

According to Sadar police station in-charge Satish Kumar, initial investigation revealed no injury marks on the body of the deceased. Police received information about the incident on October 29. At present, the investigation into the actual causes of death and other allegations remains ongoing.
