A 35-year-old motorcycle rider injured in a road accident in the Shivpuri district died during treatment in Gwalior on Saturday.

The accident occurred two days prior on Thursday evening near Anantpur village on the Deharda-Isagarh road.

Victim identity and initial treatment

The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Santosh Kushwah, a resident of Bamour Kala village under the Rannod police station area.

Following the accident, he was initially taken to the Shivpuri District Hospital, from where he was referred to Gwalior due to his critical condition.

Police investigation underway

Police have registered a case, and the Lukwasa outpost police are investigating the incident. The unidentified vehicle and its driver responsible for the collision have not yet been traced.
