In two separate incidents in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, two real sisters died by suicide by jumping into wells along with their children. The tragic incidents came to light on October 30, 2026, within the Bairad and Kolaras police station jurisdictions, resulting in a total of six deaths.

First incident in Bairad and Kolaras

In the first incident, 30-year-old Brajbai ended her life by jumping into a well along with her six-year-old son, Prashant. According to family members, Brajbai was pregnant, and her husband, Dharamveer Rawat, had died in a road accident three weeks prior.

Second incident involving elder sister

In the second incident, the elder sister, 35-year-old Sita Rawat, died by suicide by jumping into a well with her two daughters, Rakhi and Priyanka, and a son, Shlok. Following the incidents, the police conducted post-mortem examinations on all the bodies.
