Former Meta vice president and IIIT Hyderabad alumnus Manohar Paluri has launched a new company named Warp Sciences. He served at Meta for 14 years, holding the position of vice president in 2024, and established the new venture after leaving the company.

Initial Funding and Investors

Warp Sciences has received a total of 215 million dollars, which is approximately 1,800 crore rupees, in its initial funding round. The funding round was led by Lightspeed Partners.

Several other major investors also participated in the funding round alongside Lightspeed Partners, including IVP, Mayfield, Lux Capital, and Premji Invest.

Focus Areas of Warp Sciences

Warp Sciences will operate in the field of research related to the discovery of new drugs by utilizing artificial intelligence, robotics, and chemistry.
