A man was killed over a land dispute at Gorver village within the limits of Khaniyadhana police station in Shivpuri district on the midnight of November 2, 2026. The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Shivcharan Parihar.

Land dispute and alleged attack

Shivcharan and his elder brother Pritam Parihar had been involved in a long-standing dispute over land. During the incident, it is alleged that his niece, Bhavna Parihar, hit him on the head with an iron rod, resulting in his death.

Police action and post-mortem

In this connection, police have registered a murder case against elder brother Pritam Parihar, Kasturi Bai, Bhavna Parihar and Son Singh. On Tuesday afternoon, police conducted the post-mortem examination of the deceased's body.
