The Himachal Pradesh government issued administrative reshuffle orders on October 31, 2026. Under this, five HPAS officers have been transferred and given new appointments.

Key appointments made

Bhupendra Kumar, a 2009-batch HPAS officer, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC). Additionally, Krishan Kumar Sharma has been assigned the responsibility of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Sarkaghat in Mandi district.

Additional charges and reporting orders

Sarkaghat's current SDM Rajinder Kumar Gautam and Siddharth Acharya have been directed to report to the Department of Personnel for their next posting. Meanwhile, Surender Kumar has been given the additional charge of Registrar of Nauni University and Administrator of Manav Bharti University.
