Jamshedpur and Ramgarh police joint team arrested five youths on October 29 for committing fraud through online gaming. The action was carried out in Birsanagar, Jamshedpur.

The arrested accused have been identified as M. Manu Prakash, Md. Farhan, Rahul Minj, Abhishek Raj, and Shravan Sona. The accused used the GETID online gaming platform.

seized items and police case

Police seized 5 laptops, 25 mobiles, 102 ATM and debit cards, and 67 SIM cards from the possession of the accused during the raid. In this regard, a case numbered 05/2026 has been registered at the Ramgarh Cyber Crime Police Station.
