In this connection, the ACB has issued a letter to the Alwar district administration, requesting complete details regarding the land conversion of Goyal Fashions Private Limited.

Scope of the investigation

The properties under investigation include 20 villas and 20 cottages purchased by IAS Shikhar Agarwal, IPS Prashakha Mathur, their two sons, and their parents-in-law. The total acquisition cost for the 20 villas in Ajabgarh and 20 cottages in Bujhra, Udaipur, is recorded at 6 crore 16.5 lakh rupees.

All the purchased villas and cottages were leased back to the same company from which they were bought. The 20 cottages in Bujhra were leased at an annual rate of 4 lakh rupees per cottage, and the 20 villas in Ajabgarh at 5 lakh rupees per villa.

According to documents at the company's Ananta Spa and Resort in Ajabgarh, 4 villas are registered in the name of Shikhar Agarwal and 12 villas in the name of Prashakha Mathur. The ACB is currently examining the conversion reports and registry documents.
