The body of a 35-year-old farmer was found by the roadside on NH-46 in Gilgawa village within the Kolaras police station area of Shivpuri district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Virendra Dhakad, a resident of Mohrai village. Following the incident, family members and villagers staged a chakkajam on the highway from 10:30 am to 2 pm.

Family alleges murder and financial transactions

The family members alleged that Virendra Dhakad was murdered and that online money transactions were carried out using his mobile phone. During the protest, they demanded a fair investigation into the matter and action against the culprits.

Police action and case registration

Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The police have registered a case under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the body is being sent for post-mortem examination.
