A total of 4,500 ornaments for the anticipated film Ramayan, which has been released in cinemas, were manufactured in Jaipur. These items were prepared by the renowned Jaipur-based brand Amrapali.

The entire jewelry collection required approximately 18 months to complete. A team of 25 designers and over 150 artisans collaborated on this project.

Materials and design details

For the exile sequences of Ram, Sita, and Lakshman in the film, special wooden ornaments were crafted instead of gold and silver. Additionally, the majority of the jewelry was prepared using brass with gold and silver plating.

Previous cinematic projects

This is not the first major project for these Jaipur artisans. Previously, they have created jewelry for other films such as Baahubali, Manikarnika, Ramleela, and Saawariya.
