A student in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district approached Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu with a request for her mother's transfer. The Chief Minister immediately assured the child that her issue would be resolved.

Within hours of the interaction, transfer orders were issued by the Education Department. The orders were released late Thursday evening, within approximately six to seven hours.

Quick Transfer Issued Within Hours

The teacher, Naro Devi, was previously posted at GPS Sobal, Nerwa, in Shimla district. She has now been transferred to GPS Chandru, Tissa education block, in Chamba district.

With this move, the teacher received a new posting near her home in Chamba. This entire administrative step was taken under the 5 percent transfer policy.
