An encounter took place between the police and criminals on Thursday night in the Karma Tillha forest under the Urimari police station area in Hazaribagh. During this, the accused Anshu Dubey, who is described as an active operative of the Rahul Dubey gang, sustained a bullet wound to his leg in retaliatory police firing.

Police Confirmation and Recoveries

Hazaribagh Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar has confirmed the incident. The police also recovered weapons and a leaflet from the scene.

Medical Treatment and Investigation

The injured accused has been sent to the Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital for treatment. The police are now investigating the contents of the recovered leaflet and his involvement in other incidents in the area.
