The mortal remains of Parvinder Jhota were sent from the mortuary of the Mansa Civil Hospital to Chandigarh PGI at around midnight on Thursday.

Following the incident, the government assured an economic compensation of two crore rupees and a government job to the deceased person's wife, Manpreet Kaur.

Father demands SSP transfer

On the other hand, the deceased person's father, Bhim Singh, has raised a demand for the transfer of Mansa SSP Vaibhav Chaudhary before the post-mortem and cremation. The administration is considering further action in this matter.

The date for the cremation in the Parvinder Jhota case has not been clarified yet. The next procedure will be decided only after talks between the family and the administration.
