Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has received a threatening audio message in the name of the Lawrence gang. The sender claimed to be a member of the gang and demanded crores of rupees from the actor.

Mumbai Police investigating the audio clip

A senior Mumbai Police official has confirmed the incident. The police are currently investigating the matter seriously, and the voice in the audio clip is being matched with police records of accused individuals.

At this preliminary stage of the investigation, the police are also verifying whether the sender is actually a member of the Lawrence gang. No First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in the case as yet.
