Bollywood actor Tushar Kapoor received a threatening phone call in the name of Harry Boxer of the Lawrence gang. The caller demanded a ransom of five crore rupees from the actor.

Mumbai Police investigation

Following this incident, Tushar Kapoor immediately informed the Mumbai Police about the matter. The police handed over the investigation of this serious case to the Anti-Extortion Cell and Crime Branch.

During the investigation, the police found that the voice of the person who issued the threat did not match the audio sample of Harry Boxer. According to the police, the call was fake and an attempt was made to create fear in the name of the gang.

The identity of the actual person who made the threatening call has not yet been clarified, and the police are engaged in searching for him.
