Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King has generated major business news. According to a report by Pinkvilla, Phars Films has purchased the overseas theatrical rights of the film for Rs 175 crore.

Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures are involved in the production of the film. It is being directed by Siddharth Anand and the film will be released in cinemas in Christmas 2026.

Box office target and distribution

According to trade figures, the film King will need to earn between Rs 350 crore and Rs 375 crore at the international box office to break even. Additionally, Pen Marudhar has bought the all-India distribution rights of this film for Rs 250 crore.
