Indian Railways has decided to operate several puja special trains via Dhanbad for the convenience of passengers. In addition, fares for the Black Diamond Express have been revised.

Gondia-Patna and other special services

According to the railways, a three-trip puja special train will be operated between Gondia and Patna via Dhanbad. Train number 08895 Gondia-Patna will operate on November 6, 13, and 20. On the return journey, train number 08896 Patna-Gondia will run on November 7, 14, and 21.

Furthermore, special trains will also be run for three trips each between Ranchi and Purnia Court, and between Durg and Barauni via Dhanbad. The Asansol-Varanasi-Asansol Express will continue to run with its traditional ICF coaches.

Fare reduction on Black Diamond Express

As part of the fare revision, the second seating fare of the Black Diamond Express running between Dhanbad and Howrah has been reduced from Rs 140 to Rs 125. Additionally, the AC chair car fare has been reduced from Rs 480 to Rs 435.
