A CBI court in Panchkula has issued a major order in the teacher Manisha death case, deeming the role of a DSP and a lady ASI to be suspicious. The court has directed that narco tests, brain fingerprinting, and Beos tests be conducted on DSP Sanjeev Kumar and ASI Shakuntala.

court rejects final report

The CBI court has rejected the final report that described Manisha's death as a suicide. SIT head Sanjeev Kumar is accused of illegally taking the CCTV DVR from Ideal Nursing College into his possession. At the time of the incident, the deceased Manisha's father, Sanjay, had requested the lady ASI to search the college campus.

As part of the ongoing investigation, a board of three experts will conduct a forensic test comparing the handwriting from Manisha's 12th-grade notebook with the suicide note. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for 23 December, during which the CBI must submit its progress report.
