In the House of Representatives elections, the opposition Democratic party won 253 seats and the Republican party won 157 seats. Meanwhile, following the Senate elections, the Democratic party holds 54 seats and the Republican party holds 44 seats.

Impact on net worth and pending results

Out of 36 seats across 34 states in the gubernatorial elections, Democratic candidates secured victory on 22 and Republican candidates on 12. According to estimates by the Financial Times, Musk's net worth declined by about 2.8 lakh crore rupees following the defeat.

Final results are still awaited for 25 seats in the House of Representatives, 2 Senate seats, and gubernatorial elections in 2 states in these elections.
