Modus operandi of fraudsters

Cyber fraudsters target people through fake shopping websites and mobile apps. In addition, fraud is also committed through fake advertisements and links on social media.

Fake QR codes and UPI payment requests are used for cheating. Along with this, financial information of people is stolen by sending fake cashback, reward and delivery messages.
