Ayodhya is hosting its 10th Deepotsav. On this occasion, 22 tableaus depicting the seven Kandas of the Ramayana have been taken out in a procession.

Coronation and processions

Vice President Dr. C.P. Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are scheduled to perform the coronation of Lord Ram during the event. Governor Anandiben Patel will also be present at the ceremony.

During the celebrations, 2,147 priests will participate in the Saryu Maha Aarti. In addition, 2,100 drones will be used to display scenes from the Ramayana in the sky.

Around 10 lakh devotees from across the country are expected to arrive in Ayodhya to witness the Deepotsav. Meanwhile, 30 lakh earthen lamps will be lit in the evening.
