An unusual incident took place at Ashok Juice Corner near the bus stand in Pihova, Haryana, on Saturday evening at 6 pm. Manjit Singh, a resident of Garhi Singha village, was drinking juice at the shop when a five to six-foot-long python weighing about ten kilograms climbed onto his leg.

Incident at juice shop

The sudden appearance of the python caused panic at the shop. However, showing presence of mind, the shop workers managed to control the python by using a shovel and a cloth.

Rescue by workers

Without informing the forest department or professional snake catchers, the workers rescued the python themselves. It was then caught and released near the drain track outside the shop. No one was reported injured in this incident.
