An incident of alleged gang-rape involving an orchestra dancer has been reported from the Shivpuri locality under the Laheri police station area in Nalanda. Two young women were reportedly called to perform a dance under the pretext of a birthday party.

According to the victim, a total of seven young men were present in the room at the time of the incident, out of which two men allegedly forced themselves upon her.

Following receipt of the information, Sadar DSP-1 Amarnath and Laheri police station in-charge Anil Kumar Pandey arrived at the scene. The police have taken both female dancers into their custody.

A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team and the police jointly inspected the scene and gathered necessary evidence from the location. Police officials have not yet issued any official statement before the cameras regarding this matter.
