Noel N Tata will retire from his position as chairman and director of Voltas on November 11, 2026. The company board has decided to appoint him as chairman emeritus starting November 12, 2026.

Leadership transitions at Voltas

Sunil D'Souza will take over as the new chairman of Voltas in his place starting November 12, 2026. In addition, other appointments have been finalized on the board.

Jayant Balan has been appointed as managing director for a five-year term starting May 25, 2027, though this appointment is subject to shareholder approval.

Venkateshulu Palaniswami has also been appointed as an additional director in the company effective from November 12, 2026.
