According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Himachal Pradesh is running 1.4 degrees Celsius above normal, while the maximum temperature is 0.9 degrees Celsius above normal. The minimum temperature in Manali was recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius, which is 3.2 degrees higher than normal.

Additionally, the temperature in Shimla was recorded at 11.0 degrees Celsius, Solan at 10.0 degrees Celsius, and Kufri at 10.1 degrees Celsius. All these figures are higher than normal.

Rainfall and snowfall updates

During the winter season between October and November, 13 percent more rainfall than normal has been recorded. Light snowfall is predicted in the higher mountains of Chamba, Kinnaur, and Lahaul-Spiti.

Temperature forecast

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain clear and sunny throughout the state from November 3 to November 7. During this period, temperatures may increase by two to four degrees Celsius.
