The Haryana team delivered a strong performance at the North Zone Muay Thai Championship held at the Sports Hall of Jammu University. The players from Haryana claimed the overall winner trophy for the second consecutive time in this competition.

Impressive medal tally by Haryana players

A total of 67 players from Haryana participated in the championship. Demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, the players secured a total of 34 gold, 19 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

The Haryana contingent included 75 members in total, consisting of the players, coaches, managers, three technical officials, and Sombir Vashisht, the general secretary of the Muay Thai Sports Association-Haryana.
