Ten officers and personnel of the Haryana Police Special Task Force have been selected for the Central Home Minister's Dakshata Padak. The announcement was made on October 31 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs had instituted this award on February 1, 2024. The Haryana STF personnel have received this medal for the year 2026.
