An FIR has been registered against the son of a Congress MLA and a bank manager for allegedly sending a fake Rajasthan High Court order to contest panchayat elections. The action was taken in 2026 at the Surajgarh police station.

Allegations and investigation details

Jaiprakash, son of Surajgarh Congress MLA Shravan Kumar, is accused of contesting the election relying on the fake order. Investigations revealed that the alleged fake high court order was sent via WhatsApp to the Surajgarh SDM from the mobile number of Umesh Kumar from Haryana.

Police complaint and high court observation

The case was registered under charges of cheating and preparation of forged documents on the complaint of Surajgarh SDM and Returning Officer Sandeep Chaudhary. On October 29, a single bench of the Rajasthan High Court had termed the use of the fake order by matching it with the original record as an attack on the judicial system.
