Following the recent elections in Israel, Gadi Eisenkot has outlined four conditions for the formation of a new government.

No coalition secured a clear majority in the 27 October Israeli elections.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition won 53 seats and the opposition coalition secured 48 seats in the 120-seat Knesset.

Gadi Eisenkot's party Yashar won 21 seats, the highest within the opposition.
